S.O.M Change

When it comes to changing, what does it actually take for someone to change? What holds someone back from changing their ways, changing their mental state of mind, changing the language someone chooses to speak and think, transforming bad habits to new healthy habits? What does it take for someone to change their lifestyle, the way someone reacts or go about handling themselves/situations, or what about the behavior and body language they communicate to people around them? The word change scares people, change can be scary. Why does change have to be scary? For most, it's the state of the unknown that can be scary. The part of getting yourself out of a known place or out your comfort zone, is scary. One will start to ask, where do I start and how do I change? The mind runs on brain waves that has already been programed the day someone first experienced a stress or trauma. When it comes to change the brain definitely gets scattered as the programmed brain waves tries to catch the waves of new patterns or attempts of change but because of the programed waves, it puts a holt to the process of someone's attempt because the new brain wave interferes with what it is used to.

At some point you get tired being the person you are? A change will come but will it be for the better? It all depends on the state of mind, if you think negative then your perceptive is based on negative opinions and views. At the end of the day, it is on you to take care of yourself mentally and emotionally. A lot of people will start to ask, what if a person did or said something to you or what about if the trauma was done within the home or your environment. I still tell them, no one can go to the bathroom for you, you can hold it all you want but eventually if you don't take yourself then it will end up all over you and as an adult who will clean you up or the mess? You still have to clean up after yourself, only you know your flaws or your fears and its up to you if you want to allow that to control what you can do or go about handling yourself and situations. Just like taking care of your physical health, it's just as important to take care of your mental and emotional state. When it comes to quitting old-bad habits and implant new health ones is a challenge but like I tell everyone its a healthy challenge. Anything good is going to be hard but you have to remain focused and stay mentally strong to get through your journey of change. Be consistent, be determined, be motivated because you can do it!
